I have several years of hands-on animal care experience and currently work as a Patient Care Assistant in a busy veterinary hospital. I also have a BSc in Bioveterinary Science and am a qualified SQP. My experience includes caring for cats and dogs of different ages, breeds and temperaments, including puppies, kittens and senior pets. I’m confident with feeding, medication routines, monitoring pets wellbeing and recognising when something may not be quite right. I’ll treat every pet as an individual and follow their normal routine closely so they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for.

For dogs, are they friendly with other dogs and people, and do they have any reactivity, recall or lead-pulling issues? Is there anything else I should know to keep them happy and safe while in my care?

A typical day

I work in a veterinary hospital, so caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. Outside of work, I love spending time with pets and keeping active. Walks will be tailored to your dog’s age, energy level and routine, with plenty of time to explore, play and get some attention. For home visits, I’ll make sure your pet is comfortable, fed, refreshed and given lots of care and company. I’m confident caring for a variety of pets and will always follow your usual routine and instructions closely.
