Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I currently have a wonderful 7-year-old Shih Tzu who is incredibly loved, well cared for, and looked after to the highest standard every single day. Being responsible for my own dog has given me valuable hands-on experience in understanding a dog's needs, routines, behaviour, and the importance of making them feel safe, happy, and comfortable. Growing up, I was surrounded by animals and had both cats and a German Shepherd, which gave me experience caring for pets with very different personalities, temperaments, and care requirements. This has helped me develop patience, confidence, and a genuine understanding of how to make animals feel relaxed and secure. I also regularly care for my sister's Chihuahua whenever she goes away, which happens several times a year. During these stays, I ensure he receives the same level of attention, affection, exercise, and care as I give my own dog. I'm comfortable adapting to different routines and personalities, and I always take the time to get to know each dog individually. Friends and family often trust me with their pets because they know how much I genuinely love animals and how seriously I take their wellbeing. I understand that leaving your dog with someone else can feel daunting, which is why I treat every dog in my care as though they were my own. My goal is always to provide a safe, loving, and enjoyable environment where your dog feels happy, relaxed, and part of the family. I love getting to know every dog before their stay so I can provide the best possible care and make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and right at home. I'd like to know about their personality, daily routine, exercise needs, feeding schedule, likes and dislikes, and whether they have any special requirements or medical needs. I also find it helpful to know how they interact with other dogs and people, whether they have any fears or anxieties, and what helps them feel most relaxed and settled. Every dog is unique, and I believe the little details make a big difference. Whether your dog loves long walks, endless games of fetch, cosy naps, or plenty of cuddles, I want to make sure their experience with me mirrors the care and routine they receive at home. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, so I always encourage owners to share as much information as they'd like. The more I know about your dog's preferences and personality, the better I can tailor their stay and ensure they receive the individual attention, love, and care they deserve. My goal is simple: for you to feel completely confident while you're away and for your dog to have a safe, enjoyable, and stress-free experience filled with fun, comfort, and plenty of affection.
