Hi! I’m a veterinary medicine student with a huge love for animals and plenty of hands-on experience with both dog walking and pet sitting. I’ve cared for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and I always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. I have spent two years as a kennel assistant at a vet's practice, providing me with invaluable experience. Since I was 15, I've walked dogs and cared for a variety of breeds, confidently managing both lively and shy pets. As part of my veterinary training, I’m developing strong knowledge of animal behaviour, health, and welfare, which means your pets will be cared for with extra attention to their safety and wellbeing. Whether your dog loves long energetic walks or just gentle company and cuddles, I’m happy to tailor care to their individual needs. Katie has always had a curiosity and heart for caring for different animals since living in Africa. Whether its playing with a friend's dog on a walk or creating a fun, stimulating environment for her own rabbits she makes the animal's welfare a high priority and is very instinctive to their needs.
I needed help walking my dog due to my health and Katie was the perfect person to help. Katie always turned up on time to take Darcy out and take him on a lovely walk for the time slot that was agreed on. Darcy was very fond of Katie and would get excited when he would see her walking up the drive. Katie is very trustworthy and we were happy and thankful on the times Katie let herself in to the house and walked and fed Darcy for us the few times we were out for a longer time. Katie has a clear love for dogs and all fogs will love her 🐶🐶🐾🐾
Katie is incredible with all the animals I have seen her interact with! She truly has a passion for them and treats each and every one with the utmost respect and care. As a vet student she already has an incredible amount of knowledge regarding a variety of species of animals and will meet your pets needs in a heartbeat.
