A typical day

Hi, I’m James. My wife Heather and I love animals. We both grew up living with an array of pets, including dogs, cats, birds (ducks, chickens and budgies), lizards and tortoises. All of our companions have been loved and admired, and our experiences with different animals and personalities have taught us to recognise behavioural traits and understand what your boy(s) or girl(s) may want or need. Heather is at home throughout the week and is able to provide the daily care your friend deserves, including walks, attention, food and fresh water. I finish work at approximately 3pm, Monday to Friday, so we can also enjoy an evening walk together before dinner and bedtime. We believe it is important to build trust with your furry friend by joining in with the activities they love. The atmosphere within our home is relaxed, and we believe our furry friends need a strong routine and a loving environment to thrive. We have an array of both physical and mentally stimulating toys, helping to keep your friend entertained and engaged throughout their stay. Requested information about your pet We will need to know if there are any behavioural traits that we should be aware of, or anything that we should avoid doing because it may cause your pet stress. For their safety, as well as ours, it is paramount that we understand these things before their stay. Knowing what makes your friend comfortable allows us to provide care that is as familiar and reassuring as possible. We can accommodate individual needs, but we need to know about them beforehand so that we can make their stay as comfortable as possible. During the stay We love to ensure that your friend is both physically and mentally stimulated, while also giving them a safe and comfortable place to relax when they are ready to do so. Their stay can include daily walks, plenty of wholesome playtime, mental stimulation and, most importantly, a calm place to chill and feel at home.
