Home from home sanctuary C.'s Experience
Home From Home Sanctuary — St Albans, Hertfordshire surrounding area & worldwide www.homefromhomesanctuary.co.uk **Where Award-Winning Expertise Meets Exceptional Care** Choosing someone to care for your beloved companion is one of the most important decisions you'll make. With over **35 years of dedicated experience** in animal care, training and welfare, I provide a truly bespoke guardianship service for owners seeking exceptional standards rather than standard pet sitting. I am an **IMDT-trained Dog Trainer** with more than **20 years' professional training experience**, working with puppies, adult dogs, rescues, giant breeds and those requiring behavioural support. I am also **DEFRA qualified as a Microchip Implanter**, **Pet & Canine First Aid qualified**, **fully insured**, and hold an **Enhanced DBS Check with Barring**, giving you complete confidence that your companion is in safe, knowledgeable hands. My commitment to animal welfare extends far beyond my business. I founded a community pet food bank, an initiative recognised with both the **BBC Make a Difference Award** and the **Animal Star Award**. Rescue organisations, veterinary professionals and countless owners have trusted me with animals needing patience, experience and compassionate care. Every booking is tailored entirely around your companion. There are **no crates**, **no large groups**, and **no dogs left alone**. Whether your pet enjoys peaceful companionship, woodland adventures, enrichment, training sessions, scent work, agility or simply maintaining their normal daily routine, their wellbeing always comes first. Alongside home boarding, daycare, dog walking and house sitting, I also provide puppy training, behavioural guidance, pet taxi services, grooming, nail clipping, medication administration, microchipping, drop-in visits, holiday care and support for pets with complex medical or behavioural needs. I welcome all breeds, all sizes and all species. If you're simply looking for the lowest-priced sitter, I may not be the right choice—and that's perfectly fine. My service is designed for owners who value experience, recognised qualifications, award-winning animal welfare, personalised care and complete peace of mind. You'll also find five-star Google reviews from clients who have entrusted me with their much-loved companions, reflecting the care, professionalism and dedication that define everything I do. I look forward to meeting you and providing your companion with the same exceptional standard of care I would expect for my own.

I was really happy with how my hamsters were looked after by Jo. Everything was clean and they were clearly well cared for. It’s always a worry leaving small pets, but I felt completely at ease and so so happy to have picked Jo ❤️

I went on holiday so wanted my dog to be with Jo as I’ve had her look after my dog before but I also had a couple of dog training sessions, and I’m glad I did. I noticed a difference in both dogs pretty quickly, which was great to see and I am so impressed
